R.I.P Tony Hateley

Tony Hateley (13 June 1941 - 1 February 2014) was a footballer who played for numerous English clubs as a striker. He is also the father of former England footballer Mark Hateley and grandfather of Motherwell footballer Tom Hateley

 

At the time of his retirement his combined transfer fees were a record for a single player in English football.

Sad news,I met him at a celebrity golf tournament years ago and he was a really nice person (as is his son Mark) RIP Tony.
