Sad news yesterday Suzanne.

Nobby Stiles, One of the boys from ‘66...Part of the 1968 European cup winning side with Man. Utd.

I remember Paul “Knock Knocking” at Nobby’s house on a few occasions, Even presented whim with a framed Stephen Doig Print.

I wrote to Nobby Stiles on 2 or 3 occasions over the years, Always happy to sign the requests sent.

Only 4 of the lads left now who started on that World Cup winning day...Cohen, Bobby Charlton, Hurst and Hunt.

Rest in Peace Nobby Stiles...On of the boys from ‘66.

Very sad news. Met him at a signing event in MK many years ago and had a really good chat. Lovely man and always willing to sign. Will be sadly missed by all. RIP Nobby...

True pint size legend.A memory I'll never forget was Nobby running 25 yards to have an 'altercation' with chopper Harris after he'd sent George Best 3 foot up in the air.No one even got booked ! great competitor.
