Pat Rice signed my Arsenal book .

I sent the Arsenal book, that was signed by John Jensen a few days before he lost his job,  Along with a couple of index cards off to Pat via the Arsenal training ground on the 10th of October. Today the book and cards have been returned signed b the Arsenal......And Watford.......Legend. he signed and dedicated similar to John...Happy days.

Patrick James "Pat" Rice (born 17 March 1949) is a former Northern Irish football player and coach. As a player he made over 400 appearances for Arsenal, winning the Double, and later made a hundred more appearances for Watford. He also won 49 caps for Northern Ireland. He is currently assistant manager of Arsenal, a position he has held since the appointment of Arsène Wenger in 1996, and has helped the club to two more Doubles, amongst other silverware, in that time.

Thanks a lot Pat Rice. New Postie today.need to hide his black Biro..he's crossed the unfranked stamps...Spoil sport!

Great success Alex, the book looks awesome. Obviously an Arsenal legend, but also a Watford legend during our golden era. Scored his only goal for Watford in 137 games against Everton in Watford's first ever game in the top flight. He floated a free kick from his own half, Southall caught it on the goal line, stepped back behind the line, and the ref gave a goal. One of the classic freak goals in football history.
