Re: Opry member

It was the Nashville Floods that wiped out the Opry and most of Downtown Nashville where a lot of the Music Offices are

I was going to show you some pictures but it's not working this morning for some reason 😞

Re: Opry member

Well done Jane, another great result.  Am I right in thinking that Jeannie Seely at one time sang with Jack Greene ?

The photgraph and paw print are excellent.

Re: Opry member

Best of luck with the letter to Merv Shiner Jane, I Hope he replies.  He had a long recording career and should perhaps be able to shed a little light on the Canadian country music scene and fill in some details about Lone Pine.

Re: Opry member

Patrick..thats what I'm hoping ...it's the wrong time really as his wife has recently died so he could be still mourning we'll wait and see the older celebrities are quite professional so fingers crossed we can find the link between him & Lonepine as Merv did play the Opry for a couple of years and I dont think Lonepine did...
