One today - Via Venue

Hi guys,

Popped into town today to do several jobs that needed doing and while I was there I went over to Hull New Theatre.  Sally Morgan, the TV psychic, had been there last Thursday to do a show so as I have always had an interest in the paranormal and psychic abilities this was an ideal person to try and collect from.  I left a short letter for her and 3 index cards which she has kindly signed and left for me to collect.  I was sort of hoping she would leave a comment or two regarding the letter I had left her but sadly not on this occasion.  Anyway, 3 lots of her signature so I am pretty happy with that.

#18 good tip, will look out for some.  I did see some before but they were very thin and flimsy, possibly only 90g paper?  Will look again.

As for targeting, all I do really is keep an eye on the local theatre web sites (we have 2 theatres) and the City Hall site.  All 3 sites are really well laid out and easy to navigate to find out who is on and when.  When I see one I like I go a day or so before, leave an envelope with cards and a letter for the act and return a day or so after the show has ended - I think I have been successful 9/10 times so quite a good average really.  The staff at these venues know my face a little now and never seem to mind helping me out so that has made it a bit easier - in fact I went one day a month or so back and in front of me there was someone doing exactly what I was doing, they got turned away....I didnt, hehehehe!!
