Off Topic, help needed please.

My wife and I are both currently unemployed and are of course seeking work.  This querey is on behalf of my wife more than anything, obviously she wants to be able to support me when I return to work as 2 wages are better then one but there are a couple of problems getting in the way of her going out to work,  first reason is child care, this can be very expensive and we are not toally sure we could afford it whilst working but the bigger problem is my wifes health.  My wife has several health problems that are preventing her from going out to work (she prefers not to let me mention what her problems are on here) but she does feel she could manage to work from home in some capacity.
What we would like to know, does anyone here work from home (but not self employed)?  What areas do you think she could look in and are there any areas of working at home she should avoid - ie: dodgy company etc.
It is not something we have ever looked into before and have no clue about it,  does anyone have any suggestions please?

Thanks
Steve.

Well my wife tried some of these work from home things and as far as i could make out they were a waste of time and with very little pay ,i have not been out of work for many years so i have been lucky ,i hope you find some type of employment soon as it cannot be easy being unemployed at this time we struggle some months and i earn a decent enough wage .Good luck in the job hunt.

There's many oppourtunities to work form home even being self employed.....it's not that difficult ..I do it!
You could even start with carboots....buying and selling on a Sunday morning start with things that your kids have grown out of....
