Things of late have been going well until now .My wife was born with a hole in her heart which then closed and left her with the single valve (we have 3 I think)she has been going too hospital once a year every year since she was born and gets a check up it has always been mild and of not much concern and she lives her life normally (horse riding kids part time work),anyway her previous scan has shown a severe change and she now has too go for open heart surgery (1 in 50 do not survive the procedure) which is scary in itself things are a bit numb at the moment she is only 33 years old .

So if im not around as much you will know why but I will be popping in and looking at results I have a couple bootsale finds too put up.

i have a half sister ,her name is caroline,she was born with a hole in her heart too,unfortunately only ever met her once,as she was my dads daughter,who is a deadbeat dad,who left me when i was 3 years old 🙂 and her mother moved away 30 years ago,not seen her since:-( anyway sy, try not to worry mate,the odds look very good for a successfull op mate,pass on my good wishes to your misses

You are right in the subect Sy, but I am rooting for your missus. She sounds like a fighter and has you in her corner fighting for her, so those odds you mention look good. Autographs are of no importance at a time like this, so please know you are both in my thoughts.

Thank you all for your kind words ,you are a wonderful bunch of guys and girls(Suzanne) and I will be still on line and will be popping in probably daily but just not doing much apart from commenting on some posts ,but I will keep you informed of the developments ,next stage is a heart strength test this should tell us how urgent the op needs too be scheduled for but we have been told 3 too 6 mths by the specialist.

Terrible bit of news this but it sounds as though the odds are stacked heavily in her favor and with her being so young too i'm sure she'll pull through no problem. Best of luck to you all, Sy.
