I sent a copy of Niall's autobiography off to him via Sunderland FC where he is now chairman on the 16th of November. I found this in a charity shop for a £1, He played for Arsenal, Man City and Sunderland during his career a well as representing the Republic of Ireland over 90 times. I picked this up from the post office delivery office today as I missed the postman yesterday. Niall Quinn had a testimonial match between Sunderland and the Republic of Ireland in 2002. He donated the entire proceeds to charity, an act for which he received a number of awards, including an honorary MBE. Instead of receiving an appearance fee for the game, all the players received a letter from a sick child. Quinn played for both teams during the match, which raised over £1 million."I learned my trade at Arsenal, became a footballer at Manchester City, but Sunderland got under my skin. I love Sunderland." —Niall Quinn, I also received a thank you letter from the club too. Nice graph, Nice reply.
Thanks Sunderland AFC, Thanks Chairman Niall Quinn.
