First one back this year.
I sent a copy of Graham's Autobiography titled "Gooch" my autobiography, First edition from 1995,off to him via Essex CCC on the 22nd March 2013 well before he set off Down under as Batting coach with the England cricket team. on that disastrous Ashes tour...Wonder if he still has a job after that performance?.....anyway the book has arrived back today nicely signed to the title page in Biro...Just how I like them. Graham has also kindly added his sig to a photo in the book with the number "333" against it..this being Grahams highest ever test score........Graham holds the record for most runs scored in a single Test, 456 (333 and 123) against India at Lords 1990 (Gooch is the only player to score a triple hundred and a hundred in a match in all first-class cricket).
Great player in his day.......maybe he should come out of retirement some time soon? Thanks you Graham Gooch OBE.
