Yeah, there are some good signed promotions around right now Matt. I have the Rita Ora on order also plus 6 more music acts, and one book. The Gaslight Anthem should be next to arrive.

Nice CD.  I looked at that but Im not a big fan of his TBH.  Speaking  of The Gaslight Anthem I got their signed CD on Sat.  Its quite hard to see the sigs as the background is black and the sigs are black 😞

I think the Plan B Ill Manors project is the best effort at highlighting social issues through music since the original days of punk when any form of art/music could be used as an expression of protest or raising awareness. It is interesting that one of the old time punk poets - John Cooper Clarke - collaborates on a track.

He was very clever to make a very accessible album (Strickland Banks) that reached different cross sections of society, so he could build a platform for this release, and say what he really wanted to. Many who bought Strickland will not like this.

Sometimes you need something blunt to make people aware of what is going on. My gut feeling though is that large parts of society (especially many from the middle/upper classes) will be too obtuse to understand the message, but hopefully I am wrong.
