Peter Purves - 11 days

Peter kindly signed/dedicated my copy of his 2009 biography, signed my two Doctor Who photos of him as Morton Dill & Steven Taylor, and sent a nice signed note.

I should add, this is the first time in the best part of 11 years of ttm collecting that anyone has ever signed my photos with a glitter pen. They look better in person than they do scanned.

Like that a lot. A glitter pen is certainly different and looks effective. Well done.

Thanks all, I was not sure about the glitter pen at first, but it grows on you. will be interesting to see how the sig fares after a period of time in an album. Will the glitter effect remain after a few months?

#5 - You may be right. 🙂

#10 - Joe, he would have had to borrow one from a Crackerjack presenter.

#13 - You got it Alex. 🙂 Nice book, a tad larger than the average hardback dimensions.

#17 - I enjoy the letter writing. If I did not it would be a pointless hobby. 🙂 Handwriting letters, and mixing the types of requests I send helps keep letters fresh. I also only write about what I know. Never pretend you know something as 9 times out of 10 they will suss you out. 🙂 I also try to limit my letters to one side of A4, so as not to bore people, but occasionally get carried away as I do on forums, especially if I am in my element. 🙂 I did that with Leslie Phillips and apologised for rambling, hence the note on my signed book from him saying "Ramble away". 🙂
