Michelle Fairley

I got my two 10x8's and index card back signed by Michelle today, however I darn't scan the photos as they have been signed in a dry erase marker and as I picked one of them up, accidentally touching the sig, it came off on my finger.

I remember reading somewhere that you can spray hair lacquer over it to stop it rubbing off, has anyone ever tried this or know of any other methods?   Failing that I will just wipe them off and re send them (along with my own pen, lol)

Anyway, here is the index card:

Re: Michelle Fairley

Hairspray is corrosive over time. I have heard this suggestion before but the long term affects may negate the immediate goal. Never tried this toip, and never would as I have seen the damage my wife's hairspray did to some cd jewel cases over time. Nice reply though and glad not all lost with a nice signed index card.

Re: Michelle Fairley

You can get spray from Art shops that is used to 'set' pastels - that might work. Would have thought it would be acid free too. It is usually made by the same company that makes spray mount. Something like this -
