Mclroy and mitten signing

Before going to the derby match (traumatic experience!) i stumbled over a Sammy Mclroy and Andy Mitten book signing at WH Smith at the Arndale.I did not know it then but it turned out to be the highlight of my day!!! Sammy was also kind enough to sign a card as well. Pity i did not know of the signing - might have been able to take the debut programme i had back home on the Rock!!!

started supporting united during the early 70s and the first great year was the second division winning year - so having my picture taken with Sammy was a great honour.
