Keanu Reeves & Alexandra Grant In Person

Attended the Waterstones Piccadilly event this afternoon at 4pm for Keanu and Alexandra talking about and signing Ode To Happiness. It looked like a crowd of about 150 people from what I could estimate.

Keanu wrote the words to this publication, and Alexandra provided the art. She is a famous USA artist in her own right, so this was a special double signing.

They talked and took questions for about 50 minutes before signing the book. It was a strict one book per person, and nothing else signed event. This was adhered to rigorously. No posed photos allowed, but they did not mind photos taken while they were talking/signing.

I enjoyed the event as the book held genuine interest for me. A light hearted look at depression, despair and misery is right at home for me, so I can appreciate what they were trying to do. There were clearly many there just for Keanu and they could not care about the book. I am sure these will be on eBay shortly. Alexandra Grant was a revelation for me. I have seen a bit of her work before on the web, and this is very different for her. She is very beautiful and a great personality - really enjoyed the experience of seeing her and meeting her. Ended up talking to her instead of Keanu. Keanu played the audience well as would be expected.
