Received a reply from ex Dutch international and Melbourne Heart manager John van’t Schip today. He signed my cards and also wrote a short message on the protective card I placed in the S.A.E.

John van’t Schip played most of his club football with Ajax, making 273 appearances and scoring 29 goals. He also made 41 appearances for his country, scoring 2 goals. He played in the classic 1990 World Cup Netherlands team that included Gullit, van Basten and Rijkaard. John started his managerial career as assistant at Ajax. He went on to manage FC Twente and was assistant coach to the Netherlands National team.
