John Fantham reply... but not good news

Sent Sheff Weds team pic, index cards, and pics to John Fantham via private address on 28/2 received back on 17/3. Thanks to Rob (rcsmg1) for his help with this. His wife added a short note to the bottom of my letter saying that John is not very well and can not sign his name properly.

Very sad news. Hopefully he will get well soon.

I will be sending a card this week thanking him for signing and wishing him a speedy recovery in the near future. It's nice to think that even though he is not well he was still trying to not let people down. That says a lot for the man!
