Woke this morning to the sad news that origional Muppeteer Jerry Nelson has passed away. Jerry was one of the main performers who puppeteered and voiced great characters such as Lew Zealand, Floyd Pepper, robin (muppet show), Count Von Count, Herry Monster, Sherlock Hemlock (Sesame St), Gobo Fraggle, Pa Gorg and Marjory the Trash Heap (Fraggle Rock). A truly great performer with a fantastic singing voice. Jerry had been suffering from respiratory problems for many years. R.I.P Jerry.

There have been some sad losses this year. Another talented man exits stage left. He leaves a fine legacy behind him though.
