Jack Charlton success - 21/10

Sent 1970 World Cup programme, two postcards and one FDC to Jack Charlton via his London agent on13/10 received 21/10. He signed all the items sent.
The programme has already been signed by Francis Lee, Alan Mullery and Ralph Coates. The 1966 squad photo has been signed by Jack, Sir Bobby Charlton and Ron Springett (slightly smudged).
The letter has a small note relating to two questions I asked; "who was the best player you played with & against". I assume Billy Bremner/Eddie Gray with and Denis Law against.
Met him on two occassions and he is a lovely guy to talk to. Really love his strong geordie accent. Never forgot his roots!

That's another great reply from Jack, One of the boys from '66, nice of him to answer the questions too, I think it was Matt who also asked Jack a few questions with one of his requests.....Geoff Hurst's goal didn't cross the line he told us.
