In Person Today

I finally got to a signing - my first this year. I was supposed to go to the Jimmy Connors and Clarke Carlisle signings, but could not due to work commitments, but at least I got copies of those through last minute phone call orders.

Today I went to Ledley King's lunchtime book signing at Leadenhall Market. He is definitely a popular chap. Apparently they had to cap the queue when he signed at White Hart Lane on Saturday, and many missed out. Today they sold out of all copies of his book in the shop before he got there. They did say that many had been held back by a huge number of advance orders as well.

The queue was a little slow moving. Partly due to Ledley being a very slow and methodical signer to make sure everyone got a nice signature, plus people having pics with him. By the time I got to the desk they had stopped him having pics with people.

I did manage to get a sig in my Spurs Player By Player book as well, so very pleased with that. Sig #9 - a rarity for me as it is my only in person project. All sigs in person except Martin Peters which went ttm.

Glad you finally managed to get to a signing, Nigel and it's nice to hear of someone taking their time with the customers. He has a really good sig and it sits well in the Spurs book.

Great signing Nigel.I met Ledley a few years back when Harry Redknapp brought Spurs down to Devon for preseason and he was a great signer
