IS IT ME OR IS THE GROUP REALLY SUFFERING

I have been watching the group over the last couple months and it seems even the regulars are dwindling away actualy ever since Nigel left the forum its seems to really be struggling i know I have not been sending out but have been trying to boost the group with comps and other idea's it is a shame as this is a really good group when it is being regular contribution and comments some threads are lucky to get 10 replies i remember when there would be 30 replies ?????????????????????????

I remember those day too Sy, Long gone now I'm afraid.....in the good old days a new post could vanish off the first page the same day but now it's there all week, done little myself this year but always add my IP Stanley graphs to keep us ticking over at week ends. Wheel has a plan on his return, just hang on till then and it's time for a change we think.

I was thinking the same.  However, I send out on a weekly basis 1, 2 or even 3 requests but it seems I get very few replies back nowadays, which is really disappointing.  Whether or not the celebs just don't have the time or can't be bothered, I don't know.  Will wait to hear the forthcoming plans!

It is a shame that the group is getting smaller due to less people posting and replying. Will be interesting to see what Daz comes up with. The regulars are a good bunch, always willing to help each other out.

I've not had a reply in ages so, I'm left to post my purchases which isn't quite the same. But I still enjoy seeing other members replies.

We've had a few people say hello and then disappear into the ether. Even if they only came on once a week it would help keep the interest going. You don't have to comment on every post.

I look forward to Daz's return and seeing what he has in mind.

I noticed this more than ever returning from Holiday.  In the past it hasn't really been possible to comment on everyones replies without spending hours at my PC but this time I was able to catch up really quickly and there were still things on the front page that were there when I left

I'm one of the guilty ones as I only seem to have time to join the forum every week or so although I do try to catch up on comments.
Like everyone else While I've not sent as many letters out lately,the ones I have sent don't seem to be coming back.I've sent out a few cards to ex Spanish league players now over here but nothing is coming back.
Hopefully I'll be able to post something on here soon.

Ive not sent out a request in over a year as I find it hard to get English stamps ( I live in Ireland ) plus I send most requests to Man united and out of say every 10 request I could send I might only get 2 replies while I see those players that don't reply to me seem to reply to everyone else so im a bit disillusioned , but I look in every now and again leave 1 or 2 comments and wish everyone good luck

I stupidly sold off a lot of my collection about 4 years ago, but have started trying to fill it up again in the past couple of months. Requests take slightly longer coming from the UK to here in the US!

back once again after a couple of years or so.
i was on the forum at the very start,when Darren started it up when he was on the old acaf forum.
I notice that there are still quite a few members i recognize from that time.I can see that quite a lot of the postings don't seem to get as many replies as in the past.Sometimes though it can be the quality rather than the quantity that counts.

hi folks,,yes its been slow on the group since nigel left,however this is not the only reason why..........,i for one have been ill as you are all aware, and to be honest i dont feel like even coming online right now,because i have bad depression too.., my input was quite considerable at one point,there was not many days since i started the group,that i didnt post a reply,and for over 5 years i posted every day on members postings,,also core mmembers have left or dont post anymore ,,such as swain who stands out with me ,if you sit back and thnk on how many once regular members are no longer here ,you would be surprised at the numbers,,i will be back as soon as i feel up to it,,if the group is still active when i get back that is,,and i do have a idea on how to get things going again, for one the platform has changed again with the adminstrating,i no longer can see who collects autographs on ebay,to give them a invite,so new members who are dedicated are no longer able to be directed here,,another t hing is that its really complicated procedure to log in,must be a nightmare to find the group if you dont know how to get to it,,so for one ,,we need easier access  which may involve a move?...,one thing to be proud of guys,,is that we have all made this group the most successful group ever on ebay,,,and the longerst running one ,,over 6 years and still here :so please be assured guys,,i will never give up on this group until there is only me left standing

Daz just a small idea in deleting member numbers too run a thread firstly for one month keep the topic at the top of the board .
Basically ask who wants to remain in the group and after a month everybody whom has opted to stay does and we delete the remaining members at least then we all know who wants to be here and get the group back on it feet.
