Morning Everyone

Just been looking through the posts since I've been away and haven't you all done well?

Welcome to all the newbies...your going to have a blast!

We had a fab week in Nashville very blinking hot 98+ degrees and we suffered it was way too hot for us pastey brits 🙂 and it was way to crowded ....anyway we managed to get a few autographs and a few piccys so will upload them once I find the camera..haven't unpacked yet. As some of you may know my eldest daughter works on the Disney Cruise line out of Orlando.... well she's home for 3 weeks now so going to spend some time with her before she goes back so may not be around as much 😞 ..

BUT.....

I'm going to sit down with Jess and write a list of ttm requests and have a day sending requests off so hopefully we'll have some replies shortly.I missed a brilliant op to get a couple of autographs at the Ryman as Jess was falling asleep well it was 1:30am but could so kick myself for not just propping her up in a corner somewhere..Aaaaaaargh!

and OMG Dolly Parton was amazing so glad we got to see her on home soil in Nashville at the Opry!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Jane

Glad you had a good time in Nashville. Shame you never got your graphs in the early hours. Things have slowed down a bit now that the football season is over but still some great ttm's from everyone. Hope we hear from you soon.

Welcome back - cannot wait to see the pics. I know you saw Dolly live, but did you manage to meet her? That would have been the icing on the cake. She is still the lovliest person I have met, and I was really hoping you would manage to meet her.

Nigel...funnily enough Dolly doesn't normally do anything at the CMA so to catch her at the Opry during the week we were there was enough for us....she was miles better than I thought she was going to be! I've only really only seen photos of her and she always looks thin and out of proportion but she looked just the perfect package and not like any of her photos and she talks so well and doesnt mind what she says which was fab to hear he talk like that....I shall always treasure that evening! I dont know if you've heard of Mel Tillis? he was another act and another great story teller of things that had happened to him over the years....it was a fantastic evening!!

If she ever does another book signing etc we may just find ourselves waiting in a Queue 🙂 Jess would love a photo with her!

Since we last visited Nashville the CMA like everything else has grown and become more popular which although is great it spoils it sometimes as there are too many people to fight through....:(
