Well i have been a little quiet as i got the dreaded cold ,which is rather annoying with the new baby here as well. im glad my wife had the flu jab before the little one was born ,but not being able to pick up my little daughter has been very frustrating to say the least ,i am feeling slightly better today just my insides are bruised and sore from coughing .And i have to go into work tomorrow to clear leaves of the greens for the golfers joyous.

in all honesty,we should really be able to find some other aspect of autograph collecting to talk about,other than just replies,such as authentication,collections we have,who were waiting for,out best reply,the list is endless:-)

I thought you guys really tried hard to keep the forum going over Christmas I hadn't visited for a few days as I did think people had things going on...but no posts had been entered with general chit chat which was nice so well done everyone the forum was kept going even with no mail 😄 and well done the ladies for all their hard work over Christmas that allowed their men folk to do just that :-x

Since the dawn of autograph forums on the internet it has always been the same. Very few want to discuss autographs, and the majority are only interested who is signing (how, when, where, etc). Forum after forum has had the same problem. The lurkers do not even need addresses to get the info they need, just who is signing.

I would love more discussion, and have tried on many occasion on here and other forums. Other than the same usual suspects, no-one else joins in.

It's the same with competitions. I am sure many would want to join in, but it would mean admitting they exist on the forum by posting/sending a message, so they will not do that. 🙂

nigel,i cant for the life off me,understand why anyone would want to join a forum and notpost on it,thats just plain wierd,,,another thing ive noticed also,is that the collectors who do film/tv are the worse culprits,and the most anti social,as for the lurkers,my opinion on them is that most of them are just to lazy to post or answer topics.and to lazy to be bothered writing letters also,ive seen endless times,people who are members on here,asking on other forums,wether anyone has a certain celeb for sale,when than celeb is really easy to obtain ttm,i rest my case:-)

I agree Daz, why join a forum if you do not want discussion. Forums exist for discussion more so than sharing information.
