When I heard that Randy Newman was to be on the Weekend Wogan show, I thought I give it a go and ask if they would pass some of my cards on to him. That's the miss. I also asked if I could have a signed photo of the Tog Meister and that has been returned.

I also received a photo from Marguerite Hardiman this morning. She played Ronnie Corbett's sister "Moo" in the series Sorry!

At least you tried Suzanne. Better to have tried than not. Now you look for an alternate way of getting a reply from Randy.

I like both replies you did get, especially Marguerite, someone I had forgotten about. I used to love Sorry!, it was agreat sitcom.

Thanks for the comments. I will certainly try for Randy Newman again. I'm just a little unsure of what to put in the letter. He seems a pretty cynical kind of guy so, I know I can't bs him with flattery. I'll think of something.

Couple of nice results there. Wogey still signs alot, I was told he 'doesnt have time to personlise items' but hes a gent all the same.
