Here's No 36 and 37.............

First up and costing 99p is a first edition book from 1978 titled "Freeman Of The Hills" signed by the author  the late.A.H.Griffin.

Arthur Harry Griffin (15 January 1911 – 9 July 2004), usually known in print as A. Harry Griffin, was a British journalist and mountaineer. He is particularly remembered for his evocative recording, in his writing, of rock-climbing in the Lake District in the inter-war years, especially a group called 'The Coniston Tigers'; for his long-running 'Lakeland Diary' column in The Guardian (spanning a period of 53 years); and for having inspired, via these columns, and an article in the Lancashire Evening Post, the rebirth of interest in the Bob Graham Round.

Fuller details of his life, including his wartime service as an intelligence officer, may be found in the Guardian obituary. He was friends with Alfred Wainwright but somewhat disapproved of the damage to the fells that the popularity of Wainwright's guides could cause.

During the second world war, Harry served in the far east in the Intelligence Corps. He rose to the rank of lieutenant-colonel, serving as a staff officer to Lord Mountbatten and the eventual Field Marshal Lord Slim.

Next up isn't a book but an LP from way back in 1975 and signed by Britian's first teen idol? Cost 25p and is titled "Live at the festival" signed by Tommy Steele.

Tommy Steele OBE (born Thomas William Hicks, 17 December 1936) is an English entertainer, regarded as Britain's first teen idol and rock and roll star. Dubbed Britain's answer to Elvis Presley, he reached number one with "Singing the Blues" in 1957, and The Tommy Steele Story was the first album by a UK act to reach number one.

Steele's film credits include Half a Sixpence, The Happiest Millionaire and Finian's Rainbow, and he has made many stage tours in the UK. He is also a songwriter, author and sculptor.
