Gave autographs a count up today and can you

I counted my autographs today i counted all of them so what i mean is i had four autos from Nobby today so that was 4 to the count and there is nearly a 1000 autographs all together in about a year collecting couldnt believe it 🙂

I forgot to count my programmes and signed shirts so it made 1084 in a year 🙂

How many unique people is that Sy? It is surprising how fast an autograph collection can grow.

Nigel i have a few that are unique that have played only 1 game for chelsea but i suppose my cards will be unique and i have some rare programmes now signed .There are some that i think to myself wow like my real madrid final programme signed by 10 of the team ,but these will all be left to my little girl as a lot of these will be rare when she is at the age to do what she wants with them and i hope by then i have completed the programmes .only need 10 aways to complete the 60s home and away.

Sorry Sy, I did not explain myself well. What I mean is if Nobby counts as four autographs, he is one unique person you have had an autograph from in the last year. How many unique people have given you the 1000 or so autographs this year?

Nigel its around 240 TTM thats Chelsea ex and current players also ex Rangers and current and Scotland players also some world cup winners.
Some i have bought and a few i have been given by members .

Its also the help i have been getting from members of this terrific group and a lot of detective work ,and also i have had very few non replys which is a bonus  i try to write around 4 to 5 every weekend and 1 or 2 on a wedensday night .

Except during Dr Who and panto seasons, I tend to write about 5 requests each week. For example, this weekend, I wrote and sent off two requests yesterday, and today I wrote three more which will get posted tomorrow.

This year, I have sent more football requests than usual (mainly former players), and it is noticeable how many have come back quite quickly, even via clubs. I do not get such quick return rates from the world of entertainment, but they do get there eventually, even if some take years. 🙂
