G Taylor on my United programme

Seem to have been running out of United players to send to so thought i would change my requests slightly. Sent my United programme of the (in)famous League Cup home defeat to Watford when Taylor was the manager. Luther Blisset scored the two goals. Sent to Watford FC. He actually signed on his photograph inside the programme.

Totally biased, but what a wonderful man to get an autograph from. 🙂 Nice success. GT has a nice sig. It was later on that season that I got to my first ever football match, the league cup semi home leg against Forest. Forest won 3-1 on aggregate, but it was 0-0 at Vicarage Road.

remember going to Vicarage Road for a United first division match in the early 80s. They had a great team then with a young John Barnes starting to make a name for himself. Great atmosphere!!

Some really good results of late but, this has to be my favourite. I've got a lot of time for Graham Taylor. He always used to reply to my letters.
