Jonathan Pryce - 18 days
Another reply crept home. I think Jonathan is a fabulous actor, and have written to him before with success. This time he kindly signed my Comic Relief Doctor Who and Breaking Glass photos. His role as Ken in Breaking Glass was one of the all time great film characters.

Earliest obtained would be all the autographs I picked up in 1978/79 at the London Panopticon conventions.
I cannot afford William Hartnell or Patrick Troughton, but have autographs from Hartnell's first companions, and autographs from some cast members of the first Who story from 1963, so they would be my earliest in relation to stories.
I think the only companion I do not have is Michael Craze who passed away some years ago and can go quite high money wise. I have the other rare companion, Ian Marter. He was one of my in persons at one of the Panopticon conventions.
The others most sought after are Roger Delgado (The Master) who again is out of my price league, and Richard Hurndall who replaced William Hartnell as the first Doctor in The Five Doctors story - one of Richard's recently sold for £99.99 on eBay.

Best Doctor -
Sylvester MCoy for his final season - best season of Doctor Who ever, but a tie between Jon Pertwee/Tom Baker as the definitive Doctors.

I really like Jonathon Pryce, he's always good to watch. The photo's look great.
I too liked Sylvester McCoy as the Doctor. I had watched the programme before but, I really got into the series when he came in.
