Tobias Menzies - 221 days

Tobias kindly signed the rear of the 4x6 Doctor Who photo I sent plus also signed the Bond postcard and record card I sent. The Bond cards have been well received, and signed nicely.

I cannot wait Greg. The show's makers have described it as a love letter to the fans as it is packed with references and appearances both old and new.

I caught up with An Adventure In Space And Time last night. What a brilliant biopic! Plaudits for all involved in this wonderful project. I do not collect the Doctor Who dvds- far too many and too expensive, but I will buy this. David Bradley is quite brilliant as WIlliam Hartnell, and there are other brilliant performances. Jessica Raine as Verity Lambert, Sacha Dhawan as Warris Hussein, and Brian Cox as Sydney Newman. As well as a nostalgic look at how this wonderful show was created, it was also very sad as it captured Hartnell's decline in health and upset at being replaced as The Doctor.

It's been a great week with all of the various tributes Nigel. Loved the Day of the Doctor and the new direction with Gallifrey set for a return. Also thought that the Five(ish) Doctors was great, I'm a big Peter Davison fan. Only shame is that Chris Eccleston didn't do the regeneration from John Hurt, that would really have completed the picture. Great anniversary though and we got that litle hint of what is to come with 12 making an eyebrows appearance!
