Starting with the failure -

Cynthia Preston

Cynthia is a Canadian actress best known for US tv work, especially General Hospital from 2002 to 2004. I used the USA agency address on her official website, but they must have a duff forwarding address as it came back RTS today after 32 days away. Will contact them to let them know.

and now the success -

Steven Gerrard - 17 days

Having heard about all the rejections for requests to players via Liverpool I used a private address and promised not share it in my letter to him.

I sent an England shirt with his name on picked up in a charity shop for £3.99.

Having looked around, I believe the signature to be good, but always welcome opinion about authenticity. Really chuffed with this, as he is such a wonderful player.

The Gerrard result is fantastic, a great graph to have. Shame about the RTS. I'm not familiar with General Hospital but, I know what a fan you are, Nigel. I hope you can find a more reliable address.

unlucky on the RTS but what an amazing success with Gerrard, shirt looks great, got to be one of the best results I've seen on here in ages, when he did go through of spell of signing I don't remember seeing any with Best Wishes or any signed on the back

#9 Alan - it's funny you mention the shirts. I never really intended to get into collecting signed shirts in a big way, but have found so many nice shirts at low prices in charity shops that it was too tempting - especially as they are also low cost to post. When signed nicely, they do look really good.
