A forum favourite I had never got round to writing to. Recent successes spurred me into action.
Richard Dreyfuss - 38 days via USA
Richard is one of those great actors pretty much everyone has seen and enjoyed in something. He has appeared in some legendary films. I chose to send him an 11.5x8.5 inch photo from his fairly recent run in the brilliant tv series Weeds where he played a great character in the final season, and our blu-ray cover insert for Jaws. This is the first blu-ray cover I have got signed by anyone. Another one my wife was pleased with as she is a fan of his also.

nigel,,do you remember me having doubts on his ttm, years ago,,well ive noticed that some websites are now saying that some of his autographs are possibly secretarial ttm,,i have a couple of in person ones from him that i got from a signing he did with autographworld, can find them asnd show you scan if you want,i must admit,to me they look somewhat different,,on every ip example ive seen from him,the

It would not surprise me, and the evidence you posted suggests secretarials. I know some ARUs members got him in person in recent years when he was over here, so have asked for some scans there also. Curious to see how they compare to the Startiger in persons.

A shame - that would mean Suzanne and Phil also had secretarial replies as they were similar sigs to those I received.

on the old forum i got the same cover signed as you nigel,,,plus another cartoon like one]we had a discussion at the time about it,i thought it could be not genuine, but wasnt totally sure,i asked a couple of dealers at the time about it,and they couldnt give me a definitive answer one way or the other on it either,,its only recently ,in the last couple of weeks,,when i saw comments coming up on startiger that i started to look into it again, pulled out my ip examples.looked at other ip examples and came to the conclusion, that they could indeed be secretarials ttm,,

Thanks for taking the time to have a look Daz, most appreciated. I am satisified these are secretarial.
This is the perfect example why ALL ( and I emphasise ALL) ttm collectors, and people obtaining autographs in anyway other than in person should post pictures of what they get so they can be authenticated by our peers.
Mobile devices with cameras, digital cameras and scanners are so dirt cheap these days, that I find most excuses for not putting up pictures to be pitiful. Once you have one it does not even take up much time to make a picture and share it.

Sorry that you've got a sec Nigel, following on the back of my Mancini sec, although I would be more disappointed with your items being spoilt.

Nice one

Why is it a nice one? 🙂 Why do members not flick through entire threads? 🙂

That's a shame Nigel it would be much better if your items were returned unsigned rather than spoiling like that .
