E-bay purchase.."Right up my street"

Bought this off E-bay and managed to pick it up from the sellers addy as he lives local to me...saved me £6 postage fees.

When I contacted the seller about who had signed the shirt he had no idea as it was given to him by the then Chairman Eric Whalley and he thought it was from 2007....Looks more like 2005/6 season as Andy Dibble , who signed that Rotherham programme earlier this week is on the shirt, he was in goal for that season only, WE also had Robbie Elliot another keeper on loan then, from Charlton, He's just signed a 5 year deal with Newcastle utd...his graph is also on the shirt..along with 20 others...Manager John Coleman, Assistant Jimmy Bell, Still team captain Andy Proctor, Michael Welch, Robbie Williams( Not the singer) Ian Creaney, David Ventre,The Legend that is Paul Mullin ( most appearances ever in a Stanley shirt)  Dave Alcock and Stephen Jakielka to name a few..I will be doing a bit of research to name the others...Brand  new shirt  from the 2005/06 season with tags still attached. An Ossy Mills logo as shirt sponser's that season..22 graphs..all for £20. Very happy with this addition to the Accrington Stanley Autograph collection.

As for the Shirt..It will be the Conference winning side that brought back League football to Accrington.....

The following season, Elliot spent most of the season on loan at the famous Conference National side Accrington Stanley, replacing fellow Charlton 'keeper Darren Randolph who had been on loan at Stanley earlier in the year. He was part of the Accrington Stanley team which won promotion to the Football League as runaway champions
