I had time to check out a couple of charity shops in Gt.Harwood late this afternoon and managed to find this one. Hardbacked first editon from 1998 titled "Mr MacGregor" signed and dedicated by Author Mr.Alan Titchmarsh MBE, DL. Book No 3 I've found signed by this gentleman...It reads "To Jack...Keep on growing things.....all good wishes...Alan Titchmarsh"

Alan Fred Titchmarsh, MBE DL (born 2 May 1949) is an English gardener, broadcaster and novelist. After working as a professional gardener and a gardening journalist, he established himself as a media personality through appearances on gardening programmes. More recently he has developed a diverse writing and broadcasting career.

A bit yellow round the edges but for a 16 year old book and less than 50p it was never staying on the shelf.

I can't believe how cheap the books are in your area, Alex. That's a great find.
