Scottish midfield player Don Masson played for 6 clubs during a 20 year career that spanned the years 1964-84.

Middlesboro 1964-68 (53 app 6gls)

Notts County 1968-74 (274 app 81 gls)

QPR 1974-77 (116 app 18 gls)

Derby C. 1977-78 (23 app 1 gl)

Notts C. 1978-82 (129 app 11 gls)

Bulova 1982-83 (??)

Kettering Town 1983-84 (6app 1gl)

During his time at QPR they came close to winning the Div 1 title in the 1975/76 season, losing out to Liverpool by 1 point.

Don also played 17 times for Scotland, scoring 5 times, between 1976-78. In the World Cup finals in 1978, Don missed a penalty for Scotland against Peru with the score at 1-1. Scotland lost the game 3-1.

His career came to an end at Kettering Town in 1984 after one season as player/Manager.
