Doctor Who Festival

I went to the Doctor Who Festival yesterday and had a fantastic time. Great talks, loads of props and costumes and some really nice if wonderfully crazy people. I managed to get a few sigs.

Jon Davey has been in 35 episodes of DW but he's always hidden by the costume he wears. He's been a dalek, cyberman and yesterday he was demonstrating being one of the Mire from The Girl Who Died.

A new book has appeared called Impossible Worlds and it looks at the art and design of the show over 50 years. I managed to get it signed by Mike Tucker. Should be a great read.

Finally Brian Williamson who is an amazing artist for Titan Comics. I watched him as he was drawing and he makes it look so easy. Swine!
