To commemorate to 70th anniversary of the Dambusters raid, there was a signing session at a gallery my Dad goes to. Not surprisingly it was sold out.
Anyway my Dad bought these two prints and had them signed by members of 617 sqd. He's given them both to me. (I think it's my inheritance). 🙂

Thanks for the comments. Yes, they are an investment but, I'm gonna enjoy them before I need a boost to my non-existent pension.

Hi Suzanne 🙂
Now those are two wonderful signed prints, well done to your Dad for getting you such a wonderful gift 🙂 I am a huge fan of the Dambuster raids and am proud to say that Guy Gibson actually held my Mum in his arms when she was a tiny baby. You see, he used to drink in my Grandma's pub called the Sudan Chair, i saw a photo many years ago and i really wish i could find out where it is now.
We have had the BBMF flying around Lincoln all day and to hear those Merlin's is a sound that makes you hair stand on end.
Thank you for sharing your gift, truly envy you 🙂

Hi Paul. I love the sound of the Merlin engines too. The BBMF flies over every so often and one of these days, I'm going to break my neck as I try to get outside to watch them fly over. One of the most beautiful sights and sounds in the world.
