Christmas Prezzie For Nigel

Last years Christmas present was a pledge for a Killing Joke package of a signed double cd with dvd and t-shirt, plus they made the music available as a download for pledgers early as a treat. It's an entire gig from 2011, and one of the best live recordings I have heard over the years. I always knew there would be a long wait for this, but I am patient. 🙂

Joke are one of my all time favourite bands. I have seen them live many times over the years including a jaunt out of retirement to see them at the Roundhouse back in March. Still playing their new album from April - awesome stuff!

1970 people pledged for different packages, and at some point they found 40 posters for a gig under one of their sofas. They did a draw from all who had pledged, and I was one of the 40 to get one of these posters as an extra.
