She's a great actress, and a great ttm replier. Lovely success. I managed to get her in 2006 when she was over here filming Penelope at Pinewood.

Nice photo, but how do you know this signature is authentic?
Have you made any comparisons to the ones we know to be genuine that were obtained in person?
I have seen far to many of these on eBay, and they bear no resemblance to what she signs in person at all.
I am sure that you want to believe that it is authentic, but i am seeing far too mnay items on eBay from big name celebs, and all obtained through the post and being sold as authentic!
We have seen a number of big names recently being exposed as secretarial, signatures that many have thought were genuine for a long time, and indeed, judging by those dealers still selling them on eBay, still believe they are!
I would like to think that yours may be genuine, but you have to accept that their is a very high element of doubt about any signature you get through the post from a celeb like this, and when their is doubt!
I don't want to rain on yours, or anyone else's parade, but when you have seen as many collecttions as i have, full of secreatarial or at least doubtfull signatures, then you do start to be a little more carefull about what you consider to be authentic.
All i am suggesting is that before you put these items into your collection, and making the assumtion that they are genuine just because others have got results from the same address, you should do your research and make proper comparisons first.
Its a great hobby, but collecting autographs is not just about sending photos to get signed and trying to get a bigger collection than anyone else.
Garry.

garry,i understand your concern on this, the message we try to put out is that you should check out any ttm replies, especially if your not experienced with identifing secs from genuine ones,we also recommend that research is done on who is renouned for not sending out authentics,if you look through all my replies on this forum, you wont see a sec, that i have not said is a sec in my post, and since ive been doing the group, which is near on 3 years ,,ive not had more than a handfull of secs back in the near thousand replies 🙂 as for the above reply,i dont know wether its real or not,for one i cant see it close enough, and two i dont know who she is,must be me getting older:-) anyway, well done short on a your reply:-)

Garry makes some good points, and it got me thinking about my reply in 2006. I have to admit, when I received my reply in 2006 I was told it was ok by others, and did not look into it in great deal, and only saw one with some similarity on a UACC RD site, likewise did not even think of checking the sig in this thread. Stupid with hindsight.
Looking back, I would say the obvious sign something may be amiss with my old reply without looking at the sig is that I wrote via Pinewood and the reply came back via the USA. I have added a scan of mine for reference.
Comparing the sig I received with the one in this thread, it looks like the same hand could have signed them. However, looking around this morning, I cannot find any in person examplars that match these signatures. I would be happy if someone could find matching examplars, but I am not sure if you can, so accept these replies from Christina are most likely secretarial.
Thanks for your valuable input Garry, a good reminder that all is not what it seems in the world of ttm collecting. It is all too easy to get caught up thinking something is real.

I don't think many of the fellas on the forum care about the sig, they're more interested in the photo!
