Charity shop finds week ending 16Dec12

Awesome week with seven finds including five for £2. These five were from the 3 for £1 deal (also picked up an unisgned book). I felt guilty, and offered the chap more as I showed him all the autographed books. He told me not to worry about it, as they rake in a lot even with their low prices, and the reason they keep it low is to keep books in circulation like the Books For Free people. It stops unread books ending up as landfill. Many of these books were like new as well.

Higgy HB 1/1 2011 by Alastair Hignell - £2.99

Like new, and Foyles signed first edition sticker on front.

Wogan's Twelve HB 1/1 2007 by Terry Wogan - £1.99

He signed these locally when the book came out, so no surprise to find one of these. Another book that is like new.

Then we have the five for £2 lot -

Six Wedding And Two Funerals HB 1/1 2006 by Richard Curtis

Really pleased with this. Great book that ollects the screenplays of Four Wddings, Notting Hill plus the original shooting script for Love Actually with illustrations by Salvatore Rubbino. Another line new book.

Winning It Back HB 1/1 2011 by Gary Wiltshire

Another like new book. The bookie who lost a fortune when Frankie Dettori won the magnificent seven.

Left Field HB 1/1 2007 by Graeme Le Saux

Great addition to my footy collection. Just a bit of shelf edge wear.

One In A Lifetime HB 1/1 2009 by Cathy Kelly

Excellent condition again. A bit of chick lit the missus may enjoy.

Not someone I had come across before, but seems to be a well read author.
