Charity shop finds part 1 plus a purchase

Have five charity finds to report this weekend - three had Waterstones "Signed By" stickers. Here are the first two, plus a small purchase I made.

An Honourable Deception HB 1/1 2004 by Clare Short - £1

I already have this, but I do not leave nice signed books behind for £1.

My Favourite Ingredients HB 1/1 2008 by Skye Gyngell - £1

Skye is an Australian chef who is best known for her work as food editor for Vogue, and for winning a Michelin star at the Petersham Nurseries Cafe. Really nice book this - quite chunky and weighty. Retailed at £25, and has three book mark chords which is more practical for a cookbook than a standard piece of fiction.

Also, a tad impatiently, I bought James Forde's new EE card signed from a charity seller for £3. Not often I do this, but I do not mind if the money goes to charity. This is #492.

Another two brilliant finds Nigel as you say you can't leave them for £1 looking forward to seeing your other finds , a great purchase also it's not expensive at that price and it's even better when the money is going to charity .
