Charity shop finds last week

Picked up three signed books in charity shops last week. Two go straight into my collection, and the third will be a giveaway via a comp on here.

My favourite word "patience" applies with my first find. Last year I found a signed copy of Clare Short's 2004 book dedicated to Alex, so passed it on to him. I needed a copy myself for my Labour cabinet collection. A few days ago found an undedicated signed 1st for £2.99. Really pleased with this - she was a fascinating character in and around New Labour.

On Saturday I found a couple of books for £1 each -

Venables' England HB 1/1 1996 by Terry Venables

That makes three different signed books I have found in charity shops for Terry.A welcome addition to my signed footy book collection.

The other book I found was another Billy book signed by Pamela Stephenson.

Super finds Nigel, well done mate.

I think Billy is a fantastic comic, funilly enough i have never bothered to write for a graph. I have seen plenty of Pamela signed books but never found a signed copy.

Paul - Billy is tough through normal ttm routes, but I had success when he played Hammersmith Apollo in January 2010 and he signed Billy and Bravemouth both already signed by Pamela. Worth keeping an eye out in case he is playing live anywhere.

Another three amazing finds Nigel , I saw Billy Connolly at The Glagow Apollo in 1975 he was brilliant
