My dry spell comes to an end. Wrote to Carl six weeks ago with the usual two index cards both signed and returned today. Cheers Carl

Leeds born Carl joined the Academy in 2001 from Middleton, having also previously played with Hunslet Parkside, when he was 16 and just two years later he was part of the Rhinos Academy Grand Final winning squad. He broke through to the senior side in 2004, making a substitute appearance in the 36 all draw with London Broncos. 

He was just 19 when he made this first appearance, and became the 100th player to represent Leeds in the Super League era and the 40th to have come through the Rhinos system
