Book No 7 is back To Alex from Alec.

Got my final book of 7 back today, The last from that bag for a £1 I bought early in December and this was the first one I sent out. I sent this book "A Captain's Diary" a battle for the 1998/99 Ashes( hardbacked first edition from 1999) off to Alec Stewart OBE Via Surrey CCC where he is now Club Ambassador on the 12th of December last year. I did expect this one back last..... during this seasons cricket season maybe around May/June/Julyish. But today the book has been returned signed by the Former England Captain, Batsman and Wicket keeper.

Alec Kindly signed and dedicated the title page plus added his name to a photo in the book.

Alec James Stewart OBE (born 8 April 1963) is a retired English cricketer, a right-handed batsman wicketkeeper and former captain of the England cricket team. He is the most capped English cricketer of all time in Test matches and 2nd most capped in One Day Internationals, having played in 133 Tests and 170 ODIs. I have done well for that £1 I paid Sir David Attenborough, Chris Kamara, Dame Vera Lynn, Nicholas Parsons, Heston Bluminthal, Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson and now Alec Stewart. Can't grumble and another for the "Alex..well almost" Collection. Thank you Alec, Thank you all seven who signed for me.

Look at page 2 /3..Probably my best reply this year and it is onl January...Mitch Winehouse signed my copy of his book "Amy my Daughter" also Steve Gerrard..boh christmas presents that I sent TTM.
