I grew up watching the old time British wrestlers, and used to go to a few wrestling nights with the likes of Big Daddy, Giant haystacks and others at Wycombe Town Hall.
I thought this was a nice little purchase. I had seen a pile of unsigned books in The Works a while back, so was pleased to see a signed copy, and landed it for £2.03. Like new in condition.
The Grapple Manual HB 1/1 2005 by Kendo Nagasaki
It is signed by Kendo Nagasaki and his manager Lloyd Ryan.
For info: I did some digging on a forum about Kendo, and apparently he never signs in English, although some fakes in English have appeared in the past apparently. It was also confirmed he did a book signing when this book came out.
Also, a little more expensive at £15.72 was a scarce signed EE card. Gary McDonald as Darren Roberts. The auction also included the original BBC envelope it was sent in. Very pleased to add this (#462) as it was one I never managed to get in my original collection. This is a low price for this card. I can remember bidding over £40 several years ago when the market was higher, and getting nowhere near as it went for over a £100. I have had a good year for adding some rare signed cards to the collection.
