No luck on the Dorrie search either, but plenty of time. My favourite shop has a 2 for £1 deal right now, and I picked up a couple of signed books. The first one looks like an interesting read. War time exploits are a popular literary subject, but this book captures my imagination as it is about the forgotten heroes - those left behind to deal with the aftermath. In this instance, the glut of single women as a result of the high volume of casualties in World War I.
