A bundle of cheapo books

The ttm god may be giving me a wide berth lately, but a few more cheapo signed books came my way. Two for my collection, and three for eBay or trading or other.

Cutting Edge HB 1/1 1996 by Richard Whittingham signed by the book's artist Brian Ma Siy.

Also has a card with note signed by the artist inside as well. This was a gift from someone at work who found it, and thought it may be of interest. It is a recipe book inspired by Californian cooking.

My French Whore HB 1/1 2007 by Gene Wilder

Picked this up for 99p on eBay. I already have this, but at that price it was worth picking up for resale. The seller listed it as being by Gene Wider. 🙂

Then there were three more charity shop finds for £1 each.

Raw HB 1/1 2003 by Anthony Worrell Thompson

I already have this, but thought it might be a good comp prize or filler for someone's collection if they do not already have it.

Star Quality HB 1/1 2002 by Joan Collins

Again, one I already have, so will be destined for eBay or trade.

Ronald Colman A Very Private Person USA HB 1/1 1975 by Juliet Benita Colman

My favourite find today. A nice copy of this 37 year old book signed of the fep by the authoress who is Ronald's daughter.

Daz - Had it been Ronald Colman himself it would have been extra special, but it is just his daughter who wrote the book. Still nice as it is rare to find signed. Have definitely found many more important signed books in charity shops over the years.

The Wilder is indeed the actor Gene Wilder who has also written fiction. I already have this signed, plus his bio from when I met him in person.

Still makes me chuckle that it was listed as Gene Wider. 🙂

i did realise it was his daughter mate,but still think the subject matter on colman,and the fact his daughter signed it,extra special in my book 🙂
