As well as the Dietmar Hamann Doig and my annual autographworld splurge which will hopefully arrive next week, it has been a great Watford Christmas for me.
Many thanks to Brian for pointing me in the right direction of a signed copy of Watford's Centenary book from 1991. I used to have a copy signed by 8 players which I sold for £70 when we sold a lot to fund our house move in 2007, so thrilled to have it replaced this Christmas with a copy signed by 14 players for £24.
It's a scarce book by Watford standards as when it came out in 1991 it was not heavily purchased due to it's weight and cost. There was a promotional signing at the club when it was released but I was on shift that night, so missed it. If I remember, the weather was awful, so not many turned up anyway.
I have worked out 10 of the signatures, but still have 4 more to work out as part of my Christmas entertainment. Some of the sigs were signed in 1991, but some were at least from 1994 as it is signed by Colin Foster and Keith Millen. 1 or 2 may be Andy Kennedy? 4 could be an early Tommy Mooney but I am not sure of that?
Here's the signed book page - http://www.cyshp.co.uk/wfc13lb.jpg
I also picked up a Watford goalkeeper shirt from summer 2005 signed by 22 players. That was a lot easier to work out who they were. I have been on the look out for some signed Watford shirts this year, but most I have seen were either fake or out of my price range. This one was a tad less than the signed book.

While on a Watford theme - was sorting out some of my folders, papers, etc connected with my autograph collecting, came across an item I had totally forgotten about, so was able to work the sigs out on that as well. It's an old travel confirmation sheet from 1991 for a summer tour that is signed by 16 -

This was a nice surprise as apart from my Johnno match worn Premiership signed shirt, I did not think any of my old Watford memorabilia had survived the 2007 house move sale.
It has been a lot of fun working out signatures on these three items.

Nice items Nigel,as for the autographs-
1) David Holdsworth
3)Tommy Mooney
Bruce Dyer is actually Perry Suckling,Darren Bazeley is Dennis Bailey (on loan from QPR)
I recognise the other 2 autographs, but even though I've gone through my Watford team photos,I still can't work out who they are.

#13 - Many thanks for info and corrections, and most appreciated. I should have spotted Dennis Bailey as I have him on one of my cards. I wondered about Mooney but only have an older signature that is different, so was not sure. #4 looks familiar also, but I cannot place it. I ruled out Alex Inglethorpe for #2, and still wonder if it could be Andy Kennedy, but do not have a reference.

Don't think it's Andy Kennedy unless it's a rushed one also wondered about Jamie Moralee for the other but it doesn't match up with mine, always annoying when you recognise the autographs but can't work out who they are.
