A BIT OF A DISAPOINTING RESULT

sent this book via MUTV about 6 week ago and recieved it back today, im not sure about the sig, could it be a sec?:-( the good luck looks spot on and compares with others but the sig itself doesnt look right, i may be wrong. if it is a sec then its a good book ruined pretty much :_|but if it does turn out to be ok then its a dissapointing sig but better than nowt i suppose,ive never heard of secs coming out of MUTV so any opinions appreciated, cheers

thats what im thinking Alex, hope it isnt dodgy cant understand why hed need a sec to sign, with the cost of the book and postage both ways id prefer it if theyd just sent it back unsigned, hopefully someone will be on later who can tell me for definate either way

just had a look at the old forum to try and look at previous replies from Lou but it won't show them 😞

a strange one because as you say the 'Good Luck' looks like Macari's handwriting but the way 'Lou' isn't joined up is weird and it's even got the little line under the sig which is a characteristic of Lou's sig

The sig doesn't look right the Lou, how the letters are written however when you at the dedication it looks good - I'm out on this. Hope it's a good one.

yes a weird one,the ded does look like his hand,going of the examples shown by brian,i think i would assume its genuine,cant see any other logical reason why he would ded it,but not sign it

just had a thought,it could be possible that all the deds are sec,including brians?and normally macari  comes along and adds his signature underneath,however in this instance,maybe the sec has signed the ded and the autograph?

Can't comment on the dedication,but why wouldn't Lou sign his full signature?

Haven't seen him sign Lou like that and I'm afraid I don't think he's signed it.

could be daz but theres a book like mine from a couple of year back currently on ebay thats been signed by him and his sig is different but the ded is identical, heres the ebay one

the good luck is identical pretty much to mine, maybe during the last couple of year his quick sig has changed? i aint a clue, i'll put it with me other books and be happy i got a reply
