Been off work for a few days this week so found time to have a look around, Burnley and Clitheroe to be exact.
First up is a hardbacked first edition from 2003, Could also add this to the political signed books I have..This Gentleman has done amazing things ..Probably one of best known scientists..Fertility medicine, Genetic engineering, A professor..TV presenter and Politician all this for £1.50...Robert Winston's "The Human Mind" and how to make the most of it.Signed in Biro just how I like them....This gentleman is a legend!
Winston was made a life peer in 1995 as Baron Winston, of Hammersmith in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham He sits on the Labour Party benches in the House of Lords and takes the Labour whip. He speaks frequently in the House of Lords on education, science, medicine and the arts. He was Chairman of the House of Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology and a board member and Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology.
