To help you grow your business, we’ve just launched some new tools and features in Seller Hub: Coded Coupons and Preview your Shopfront. Have you tried them out yet? 

 

Coded coupons

 

Many of you told us you wanted to be able to offer your customers coupon codes - both to attract new customers and to encourage existing customers to buy from you again.

 

The new Coded Coupons tool lets you offer discounts when customers apply your code at checkout. You set the terms and have control over how the code is displayed. Either set it to appear publicly or you can keep your code private and share it however works for you.

Top Tips:

  • Set your own terms, e.g. duration, minimum purchase, maximum discount offer, number of redemptions per buyer, etc.
  • When sharing your coupons privately, make sure you include a link to the terms and conditions so everyone’s clear on how to use them.
  • Keep control of costs by setting a budget limit. When redemptions approach your budget limit, the coupon will stop being displayed publicly.
  • Use the scheduling feature to set a start and end date for your coupon. 

This year, we’re planning to add additional features to make Coded Coupons even more shareable.

 

For example, we recently launched the Print coupons feature in the Seller Hub Orders tab.

 

It allows you to print coupons to share as a gift or a thank you gesture to encourage buyers to make repeat purchases.

Preview your eBay Shopfront

 

Your eBay Shop is a great place to showcase your brand and your listings.  

 

Now you can easily make changes to your Shop by clicking Edit Shop on the Manage Shop page found on Seller Hub’s Marketing tab.

 

Have you tried out the Shop Preview feature? It’s a good way to verify your logo and billboard banner are showing correctly before any changes go live. 

        

Also, if you have specific categories you want to prioritise in your shopfront, you can rearrange them using custom shop categories. This can be a good idea during key shopping seasons. 

 

Your customers could be visiting your Shop from lots of different devices so we’ve made the Shop Preview feature available across all platforms — Desktop web, Mobile web, and Mobile Apps.
