***Updates to the eBay.co.uk User Agreement***

15 September, 2015 | 01:33PM BST

Hello,

We’d like to let you know that we’ve updated the eBay.co.uk User Agreement. The changes are effective immediately for new members and from 20 October 2015 for existing members.

Here’s a summary of the main changes:

· We’ve added new terms to cover the changes to the eBay returns process. The terms explain that sellers will be able to automate returns and refunds in certain circumstances. You can find the full Returns policy here.

· We’ve also added a new term to the User Agreement to clarify that users are not permitted to use the contact information of other users for marketing purposes, unless the user has consented to receive such marketing. This is a new addition to the User Agreement, although the practice itself is already prohibited by eBay policy.

As with earlier updates, other changes have been made to keep the User Agreement up to date with the products and services we provide.

You don’t need to take any further action to accept the new User Agreement. If you choose not to accept the new terms, visit this help page for further information.

Regards,

The eBay Team
